If you have been registered at another veterinary practice previously, we need to contact them and request any relevant medical history be sent to us. This simply means we can be made aware of any ongoing conditions or medications that have been prescribed. Your previous practice may contact you to request permission to send us this information.
In order for you to easily communicate with the team at Andy the vet & friends, we need you to download an app called PetsApp.
For veterinary advice when Andy the vet & friends is closed, you can download an app called VidiVet.
PetsApp is an amazing tool. It will allow you to book appointments, order medication(s), receive relevant reminders, request advice, and send us messages, all at a time that suits you.
If your pet(s) are staying with us, via PetsApp we can send you updates with pictures and videos, allowing you to go about your day with the reassurance that they are being well cared for.
Through PetsApp, you can also subscribe to our monthly wellness plan called Friends Unlimited, which allows you to plan for the unpredictable and give your best friends the very best care - more information below.
VidiVet is staffed by UK registered vets and provides a triage service for our clients 24/7. A bit like the NHS 111 service, but for your pet(s).
When can you use VidiVet? Simply, anytime! If you’re unsure if you need to be seen, have a query about a medication, or if you just need a bit of advice, simply send your query via the app and get a personalized response from a UK registered vet direct to your phone in minutes! This service will always be available day or night when Andy the vet & friends is closed and best of all it is completely FREE TO USE for registered clients.
